Peter Alvarez
As one of Virgin Atlantic’s original staff, Peter and four colleagues were tasked with creating the airline’s training department in 1986. Following promotion to ‘Training Manager-Commercial’ he had operational responsibility for the company’s management training and development function. In 1994 he was appointed to the role of Cabin Crew and Customer Service Training Manager, leading a team of 70 training professionals delivering safety, medical, management, supervisory and service training to the majority of Virgin’s front line staff.
Since leaving Virgin in 2000, Peter has established a successful training and consultancy business - Pentire Associates. He is a regular speaker at international conferences, where his experience and knowledge of customer service is much sought after. His experience of hands – on management and his extensive training background are invaluable when it comes to delivering a diverse range of topics. Peter is a licensed NLP practitioner, he has a CIPD certificate in training practice and  studied psychology at the University of Surrey. As an accredited Trainer for the ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) he prepares candidates for national management qualifications.
